2020 By Emmanuel Ideba  Ebonyi State Governor, David Umahi, has banned correspondents of The Sun Newspaper, Chijioke Agwu, and Vanguard Newspaper, Peter Okutu, from entering the Government House or any government facility in the state. Umahi, on Wednesday in a live broadcast, declared that Ebonyi people were very angry with the press and may “unleash mayhem” on them. He expressed his displeasure with the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), for failing to discipline their members. Umahi said: “I want to say that I am very displeased with the president and leadership of the Nigeria Union of Journalists and I am going to seize their allowances for two months because they have failed to discipline their members. “Ebonyi State is no longer a dumping ground. Rexveni.blogspot.com Apr 14, 2020 Chief Victor Ikwuemesi, the Chairman of the defunct Sosoliso Airline died today in London, United Kingdom few days after he was diagnosed with the deadly COVID-19. A family source said that Ikwuemesi was admitted to a London hospital after a brief illness.He later tested positive for COVID-19. He was in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) on oxygen since he arrived the London hospital. The source added: ”But, when the oxygen was removed for him to eat he couldn’t breath on his own. "So they put him on a ventilator and he died shortly after.”
