Chairman of Sosoliso Airline, Chief Victor Ikwuemesi dies of Coronavirus in London

Chief Victor Ikwuemesi, the Chairman of the defunct Sosoliso Airline died today in London, United Kingdom few days after he was diagnosed with the deadly COVID-19.

A family source said that Ikwuemesi was admitted to a London hospital after a brief illness.He later tested positive for COVID-19.

He was in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) on oxygen since he arrived the London hospital.

The source added: ”But, when the oxygen was removed for him to eat he couldn’t breath on his own.

"So they put him on a ventilator and he died shortly after.”

IPOB Sit-at-home order: Police allay fear of possible breach of peace in Enugu 12/Sep/2018

The Commissioner of Police in Enugu State, Mr Mohammed Danmallam, has allayed fears of a possible breach of public peace in the state due to the sit-at-home order by the Independent People of Biafra (IPOB). Danmallam, therefore, urged banks and other financial institutions, markets and business outfits not to panic but to go about their normal businesses. He made the remark on Tuesday at a meeting with the Bankers Forum in Enugu, saying that banks, financial institutions, markets and the residents should feel safe to open for business. Umahi bans journalists ‘for life’, declares press not safe in Ebonyi

2020 By Emmanuel Ideba  Ebonyi State Governor, David Umahi, has banned correspondents of The Sun Newspaper, Chijioke Agwu, and Vanguard Newspaper, Peter Okutu, from entering the Government House or any government facility in the state. Umahi, on Wednesday in a live broadcast, declared that Ebonyi people were very angry with the press and may “unleash mayhem” on them. He expressed his displeasure with the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), for failing to discipline their members.
